Recently I returned from Flamberg. One week under a tent, running around the forest in a costume and role playing. It was great fun. Weather was good, only two days it rained, good that we had waterproof tent. According to Flambrgian "legends" rain was caused by a guy called Turin, who at the convent few years ago when playing brahmin (Raashtrami cleric) wanted to perform ritual to stop the rain in effect it get much worse. I don't know how accurate it is, but the weather improved when aforementioned guy took a bath.
We had some problems, although, when a day before game organisators informed us, that they have no "protective spirit" (sort of MG) for our party, so we cannot took part in it as a team, but luckily one of orgs gave us roles as NPCs. It was great. As a result I could walk where i wanted and collect informations to pass it to parties. Maybe my role of a priestess searching for young noble and his barbarian girlfriend wasn't as thrilling as my brother's who together with our friend got to play mercenaries, but I had really good fun.
There were many epic moments, like a tournament for the princess's hand at the one-day-game (sort of intro in the world of Raashtram before the main game), where our team's scout will be remembered as "the dancing warrior" and the tournament and the title of the greatest man in Aloka along with a right to competing for princess's hand was won by... a girl. the award went to her , but from obvious resons for that last part they qualified the runner-up. A mention is deserved also by the final battle in the main game. When marching army of Knight of a Black Dragon, this year's villain before battle started to sing in a choir "Anvita! Anvita! Anvita leads us!" (Anvita is Raashtrami god of warriors) it had really epic effect, like "Bogurodzica" at Grunwald.
If youre are wondering about this journal title, it was taken from battle call of dwarven party from MG. They at the end won a prize for the most climatic team, anyway.
